Monitor and control project expenditure, ensuring accurate financial forecasting and reporting.
Procure subcontractor packages and evaluate bids, providing clear recommendations.
Prepare tender lists, tender analysis, and tender reports.
Work with Project Manager/Project Director/Design Manager to develop comprehensive scopes of work.
Manage subcontractor packages as required.
Prepare contracts, subcontract applications, and payment notices.
Resolve commercial issues with clients, contractors, and the wider project team.
Work collaboratively with the Project Lead and the production team.
Provide support, guidance, and advice to the project team
You have at least 5 years’ experience a Project Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor, client or a subcontractor environment.
Strong understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts forms
Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and negotiation abilities
Good technical understanding of construction methods
Ability to work independently and manage own workload
Demonstrates ownership, accountability and commitment to professional development
Pro-active in identifying opportunities to improve commercial, financial and operational practices.
