- Implement cost controls and financial control procedures as per construction contracts
- Measure and assess client variations and contractor claims
- Evaluate contractor's monthly interim payment applications
- Analyze project variations and prepare project reports
- Measure works on site and from drawings using electronic measurement systems
- Analyze and interpret contract conditions
- Identify and assess project risks
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying from a recognized university
- Minimum 6+ years working as QS in Consultancy/Construction/Cost Consultant Firm in UAE
- Sound knowledge of contractual relationships
- Fully computer literate and able to use project specific software

Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement cost controls and financial control procedures as outlined in construction contracts
- Measure and assess Client's variations and contractor's claims
- Evaluate contractor's monthly interim payment applications
- Analyze project variations and prepare project reports
- Analyze information for adjustments to project budget
- Measure works on site and from drawings using electronic measurement systems
- Analyze and interpret contract conditions
- Identify and assess project risks
- Communicate effectively both verbal and written
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in QS from a recognized university
- Minimum 6+ years working as QS in Consultancy/Construction/Cost Consultant Firm in UAE
- Sound knowledge about contractual relationships
- Fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology
- Knowledge of Standard Method of Measurement of construction works
