Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and quantity take offs for MEP works
- Conduct measurement and valuation of MEP works for interim and final payments
- Monitor project costs against budget and flag variances proactively
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve commercial and technical queries
- Prepare interim payment applications, variations, and contract documentation
- Manage subcontracts including evaluation and closing of subcontract works
- Perform work measurement as per CESMM
- Close final accounts with clients including variations, BOQ, and other claims
- Negotiate and finalize progress claims and variation claims with project stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 6+ years of QS experience with a clear focus on MEP packages
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, specifications, and industry cost benchmarks
- Proficiency in BOQ preparation, cost planning, and contract administration
- Experience with tools such as MS Excel or similar QS software
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- RTA Projects experience preferred

About the Role
- We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Post Contracts) with a strong MEP & RTA Infra background to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost management, and contract administration across MEP packages, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to the highest technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and Quantity take offs for MEP works
- Conduct measurement and valuation of MEP works for interim and final payments
- Monitor project costs against budget and flag variances proactively
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve commercial and technical queries
- Preparation of Interim Payment application, variation & contract documentation. Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and industry standards (FIDIC or equivalent)
- Sub contract management – including evaluation of Sub Contractor’s package and closing of subcontract works.
- Work measurement as per CESMM (Understanding of CESMM)
- Final accounts closing with clients including the variations, BOQ & other claims.
- Negotiate/finalize progress claims & variation claims with project stakeholders.
