Role Overview
Quantity Surveyor role focused on project or site quantity surveying and cost control.
The position supports project commercial activities for a major contracting environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in project or site quantity surveying and cost control.
- Strong project or site quantity surveying experience is required; mainly estimation or tendering experience will not be considered.
- Experience with a Grade A or major contracting company is required; consultancy experience will not be considered.
- Experience using ERP systems is required.
- A valid driving license is required.
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, cost control, contracts, and project-related commercial activities is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage quantity surveying and cost control activities for projects.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and progress.
- Prepare and review bills of quantities, valuations, measurements, and payment certificates.
- Assist with contract administration and commercial matters.
- Coordinate with project and site teams, subcontractors, and management.
Compensation
- Pay starts from QAR 8,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person.
