Position overview
Oscar Interiors is hiring a Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join its team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The role focuses on quantity surveying, project cost management, payments, variations, and final accounts for contracting or construction work.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the contracting or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, cost estimation, and cost control.
- Experience preparing and reviewing variations, interim payments, subcontractor payments, and final accounts.
- Ability to analyze project costs and monitor budgets.
- Good knowledge of Excel and QS or estimation software.
- Experience with fit-out or interior design projects is an advantage.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
Core responsibilities
- Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and cost-control information.
- Prepare and review variations, interim payments, subcontractor payments, and final accounts.
- Analyze project costs and monitor budgets.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 6,000 to AED 7,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
