Join a Dubai-based quantitative team working on machine learning research for a growing equities platform.
Apply advanced research techniques to live systematic trading strategies and global equity markets.
What you will do
- Research and develop alpha signals using machine learning and deep learning.
- Apply neural networks, transformers, time series models, reinforcement learning, and statistical methods to financial datasets.
- Design predictive models for equity forecasting and systematic investing.
- Analyse alternative and traditional datasets to identify new sources of alpha.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and engineers to deploy research into production.
- Conduct back-testing and performance analysis.
What we are looking for
- PhD or soon-to-be-completed PhD in a quantitative discipline such as machine learning, computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or engineering.
- Strong research background in deep learning, neural networks, statistical learning, AI, or large-scale modelling.
- Excellent Python programming skills.
- Experience with large datasets and predictive modelling.
- Publications at top machine learning conferences, academic research, or advanced machine learning industry projects are highly desirable.
