Responsible for performing various functions associated with quality control and quality assurance operations, including visual and dimensional inspections as defined by our Standard Operating Procedures required for the preparation of customer first article, cost of quality and related quality operations metrics. Make use of sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate data to assist in assessing and documenting results of quality assurance and control processes (e.g. SPC, GR&R, and POR). Collect, synthesize and publish key quality operational metrics, (e.g. COPQ, QPPM, RMA, DMR, NC). Works with engineers and other subject matter experts to conduct process assessments.

Complete regular Quality Operation Metric Reports to management for review
Complete AQL sampling or 100% inspection and maintain complete and accurate inspection reports as required
Utilize various measuring equipment to measure and collect data to determine component acceptance
Generate Nonconformance or Discrepant Material Reports to record and control all nonconforming material
Qualifications:
2- or 4-year degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience
3-5 years in Quality Control or Quality Assurance related role, preferably in a manufacturing related industry
Requires basic knowledge of knowledgeable in GD&T
Requires basic knowledge to read and interpret engineering drawings
Knowledge and use of precision testing equipment and tools (caliper, micrometer, pin gage, profilometer)
Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio is essential
Ability to communicate clearly at various levels of the organization, with suppliers and customers.
Teamwork orientation is essential in this role
Experience with ERP systems is a plus (Epicor, Vantage, Oracle, SAP)
