Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specific specifications, and QMS requirements
- Advance quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
- Identify and develop solutions to correct inspection function deficiencies
- Analyze efficiency of quality assurance standards ISO 9001 and API Q1
- Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems
- Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
- Oversee all ESP component testing, including motors, protectors, pumps, and MLEs, ensuring compliance with API/IEEE standards
- Manage full system and vertical well ESP testing programs, validate performance data, and certify results
- Archive all internal audits and other quality assurance activities documentation
- Investigate and report customer complaints and non conformance issues
- Collect and compile statistical quality data
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Quality Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Quality inspection, testing and auditing experience
- Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
- Product or industry specific experience
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases
- Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and API Q1 is preferred
- Preferred experience in Oil and Gas industry
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Certifications in Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma is preferred
