Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all QA & QC activities across PET sheet extrusion, thermoforming, printing, and packaging operations
- Monitor in process and finished product quality to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards
- Investigate quality issues and customer complaints by conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, BRCGS Packaging, HACCP, GMP, customer requirements, and applicable food contact regulations
- Conduct internal quality audits and support customer, certification, and regulatory audits
- Manage product traceability, non conforming materials, supplier quality documentation, and Certificates of Analysis (COA)
- Monitor quality KPIs, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure laboratory testing, inspection equipment calibration, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities are effectively maintained
- Train and mentor Quality Inspectors and production personnel on quality standards and food safety requirements
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve manufacturing performance, reduce defects, and enhance customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC within rigid plastic packaging manufacturing, preferably PET sheet extrusion, thermoforming, and food grade packaging
- Strong technical knowledge of PET resin, RPET processing, PET sheet extrusion, thermoforming, printing, packaging processes, and food grade packaging requirements
- Hands on experience with ISO 9001, BRCGS Packaging, HACCP, GMP, and customer specific quality systems
- Experience in customer complaint handling, RCA methodologies (5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA), CAPA implementation, and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of laboratory testing, SPC, inspection methods, calibration systems, traceability, non conformance management, and quality documentation
- Experience supporting customer audits, supplier quality management, and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP experience is an advantage)

Role Description
- We are seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to lead and oversee all Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities at our PET Rigid Plastic Packaging Manufacturing Facility in Dubai.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality throughout the entire manufacturing process, including PET sheet extrusion, thermoforming, printing, packing, and finished goods inspection.
- The role requires close coordination with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure products consistently meet customer specifications, food safety requirements, and international quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all QA & QC activities across PET sheet extrusion, thermoforming, printing, and packaging operations.
