Mativ is seeking a Quality Specialist to perform inspections of manufactured products, ensuring they meet specifications. The role involves reviewing production reports, conducting first article and final inspections, and supporting gage calibration.

- Perform minor repair to measurement gages
- Perform quality assurance functions as needed (review, audits, etc)
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a machine shop environment
- Demonstrable ability to use calipers, micrometers, height gauge, bore gauges, optical comparator, etc.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Three years related experience or combination of education and experience
- Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Regularly required to use hands and stand for long periods of time

Job Description
- The Quality Specialist performs inspections of manufactured products to ensure product meets applicable specifications.
Schedule
- Second Shift (2:15pm 10:45pm), Monday Friday (weekends as needed)
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of manufactured products to ensure product meets applicable specifications.
- Perform review of production reports (review traveler for accuracy i.e material, revisions, P.O., etc.) to ensure all quality documentation are complete and accurate.
- Perform first article, in process and final inspections in the development of finished products.
- Review internal files for accuracy and revision.
- Perform duties related to gage calibration and verification.
- Perform minor repair to measurement gages.
- Perform quality assurance functions as needed (review, audits, etc).
Required Skills
- Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to write
- Basic math skills
- Regularly required to use hands and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to listen and watch machine for malfunctions
- Attention to detail
- Communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- While performing this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and loud noise areas
- Minimum 5 years experience in a machine shop environment
- Demonstratable ability to use calipers, micrometers, height gauge, bore gauges, optical comparator, etc.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Keyence CMM a plus
- Experience in an ISO environment a plus
Compensation
- The hourly rate for this position is $24.04 $28.85 per hour.
