Quality Operator

Responsibilities

• Follow the direction of the Quality Engineers/Manager to investigate production quality issues
• Recognize and identify different electronic components
• Use common electronic tools in quality inspection and testing tasks
• Support subassembly and final assembly operations
• Test subassemblies and final assemblies for compliance
• Ensure repair technicians follow established troubleshooting and repair procedures
• Generate finished work under time constraints
• Perform final inspections as needed, prepare detailed quality inspection reports
• Sort rejected/quarantined products and maintain proper repair line order
• Verify repaired units meet standards of appearance, functionality, and quality
• Use visual acuity to read prints and interpret codes or alphanumeric information
• Provide feedback to supervisors about observed trends or unusual failures
• Ensure production tools are properly calibrated and functioning correctly
• Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of experience as an Inspector or Quality Technician strongly preferred
• Experience with server troubleshooting and repair
• Must be capable of lifting 30 pounds and standing for extended periods
