Based at our manufacturing site at Botany, the Quality Leader plays a critical role in ensuring the high Quality and Food Safety standards are upheld & adhered, with a particular focus on sanitation of the plant.
You will work in an environment that prides itself on protecting its reputation by ensuring our products are of premium quality to maintain customer satisfaction!
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing:-
Accountable for the review, development and updating of the quality and food safety procedures and standards in collaboration with both the Quality and Food Safety Managers
Ensuring all documentation relating to quality in the plant is current and updated
Ensuring the plant meets all required quality and food safety laws, regulations and Kellogg corporate policies
Working closely with the Quality and Food Safety Managers in the preparation for internal and external quality audit
Assists in conducting daily and monthly sanitation and GMP audits
Ensuring quality assurance standards as maintained by all raw & packing material suppliers
Degree qualified in Food Science/Technology or related discipline
Previous experience in either a quality assurance, food safety or production roles is ideal
A sound technical knowledge or quality and food safety applications
Ability to manage effectively a range of different and often competing tasks
High level attention to detail
Excellent written & verbal communication skills – at all levels
Strong aptitude for systems
