Quality & Food Safety Coordinator

In this role you will report to the Quality & Food Safety department where you will be involved in supporting multiple quality and food safety related initiatives throughout the site. You will indirectly lead a small team of hourly employees to develop their capability and drive results. What you can expect from us: Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits designed to fit your unique needs A dynamic and inclusive culture that promotes you to bring your whole self to work Inspiring positive change for people and the planet with sustainability goals A supportive team that will encourage your professional growth and development Total Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 Responsibilities Specifically, the QFS Coordinator’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Preventive control ownership on shift Communicating and collaborating cross-functionally to assist the team in solving operational problems Ensure a safe work environment for our teams Ensure compliance with company and regulatory food safety standards Facilitate the implementation and compliance of policies and programs as they pertain to quality & food safety Facilitate training and capability development on shift Qualifications Graduated with a relevant degree or post-secondary designation preferred or equivalent work experience Strong interest in quality & food safety Demonstrated leadership capabilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Ideal candidates will have the willingness and flexibility to perform tasks as needed in support of the team’s business needs.
