Quality Engineering Lead - Selenium, Java, Rest Assured API Testing, Cucumber

Role overview

Primary responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain UI automation suites using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Core Java, and reporting mechanisms.
• Develop API automation frameworks using Rest Assured with BDD, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
• Evaluate and integrate AI-assisted testing tools to streamline workflows and improve test coverage.
• Perform end-to-end functional testing and manage coverage and defects throughout the quality assurance lifecycle.
• Track and manage defects and test cases with tools such as Jira or Rally.
• Apply maintainability practices to create scalable, reusable, and efficient automated scripts.
• Collaborate across onshore and offshore teams, analyze requirements, and raise clarifying questions.
• Troubleshoot complex testing and technical issues independently.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• 8+ years of software quality assurance experience spanning functional testing and test automation.
