Key Responsibilities - Entry Level Hire, Quality Engineer
- Support product quality monitoring during development and serial production phases
- Assist in achieving manufacturing and process quality targets during launch and mass production
- Identify quality non-conformities and escalate issues (Stop-at-Defect approach)
- Participate in problem-solving activities (root cause analysis, corrective actions)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process quality
- Maintain and update quality-related documentation (control plans, reports, SOPs)
- Assist in assembly trials, line trials, and quality validations
- Support inspection, testing, and measurement activities on shop floor
- Help in preparation of quality reports and data analysis (SPC, trends, rejection)
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and standards (IATF, ISO)
- Support customer complaint handling and basic claim management (e.g., 8D) Assist in APQP, PPAP documentation and submission process, First Piece approvals, destructive testing, Patrol Inspection, Product audit, Handle equipment calibration, measurement system analysis, Support incoming inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering
- Experience: 0–2 years (Freshers or entry-level candidates preferred)
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of quality tools (7 QC tools, SPC, MSA – preferred) Knowledge of manufacturing processes (preferably plastic / automotive) Familiarity with quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001 – basic level)
