Responsibilities
- Support the design, analysis, and improvement of mechanical systems, components, and machinery for client projects
- Create and review CAD models and technical drawings
- Collaborate with project teams to define requirements
- Contribute to feasibility studies and R&D activities
- Assist with project planning, monitoring progress, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in client meetings to provide technical input and support decision making
Requirements
- Strong Mechanical Engineering fundamentals and practical knowledge of mechanical systems and materials
- Skills in Machine Design and ability to perform mechanical calculations and component selection
- Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools and ability to produce accurate 2D and 3D models
- Capabilities in Project Management, including task planning, coordination, and progress tracking
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including testing, data analysis, and proposing design improvements
- Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations applicable to mechanical systems
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and technical communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment

Role Description
- This part time Mechanical Engineer role is a hybrid position based in Dubai, with a combination of on site work and approved work from home arrangements. The Mechanical Engineer will support the design, analysis, and improvement of mechanical systems, components, and machinery for client projects.
Responsibilities
- Day to day responsibilities include creating and reviewing CAD models and technical drawings, collaborating with project teams to define requirements, and contributing to feasibility studies and R&D activities.
- The role also involves assisting with project planning, monitoring progress, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations.
