Ø Develop, document, and maintain quality plans, procedures, and work instructions in compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.

Ø Conduct stage, in-process, and final inspections using metrology instruments such as 2D height gauge, VMM, air gauge, bore gauge, and surface roughness testers.

6. Supplier Quality Management
Ø Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming material quality, conduct supplier audits, and maintain supplier scorecards.
Ø Manage supplier non-conformance and initiate improvement actions.
Ø Prepare and maintain First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR), PPAP, control plans, and final inspection reports.
Ø Maintain comprehensive inspection records and ensure audit-ready documentation.
Ø Involvement in internal audits, document findings, and drive closure of non-conformities.
Ø Ensure company-wide adherence to AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
Ø Ensure calibration and upkeep of all quality control instruments to maintain measurement accuracy and reliability.
Ø Track weekly/monthly quality metrics, analyse trends, and present reports to management.
Ø Recommend actions to improve customer quality ratings and reduce rejections.
Ø Support and coordinate customer or third-party audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.
Ø Identify training needs, mentor quality team members, and organize training programs to strengthen quality awareness and competence.
Ø Lead and motivate the quality team, ensuring cross-functional collaboration with design, production, and supply chain teams.
Ø Inspect packaging quality before dispatch to ensure compliance with delivery standards and safeguard product integrity during transit.
Ø Demonstrates strong respect for people, work, and societal responsibilities.

· Education: Diploma (Polytechnic/NTTF/GTTC) or BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Industrial Production Engineering.
· Experience: 1–3 years in Quality Control and Assurance, preferably within Aerospace or Automotive industries.
· Technical Expertise:
* Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
* Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
* Knowledge of CMM operation and programming (PC-DMIS) is an added advantage.
* Familiarity with quality tools such as SPC (Statistical Process Control) and MSA (Measurement System Analysis).
· Standards & Compliance : Exposure to ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards; prior audit experience is an advantage.
Ø Quality Management Certifications : Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
Ø Process Improvement Certifications : Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) and/or Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen
