Job Summary
Ensure garments and linen processed in the laundry meet company quality standards before delivery to customers.
Inspect cleaned items, identify defects or damages, maintain quality records, and coordinate with production teams to support customer satisfaction.
Quality Inspection and Dispatch
- Inspect garments and linen after washing, pressing, and finishing.
- Check for stains, damages, missing items, improper finishing, and other defects.
- Ensure garments are packed and tagged correctly before dispatch.
- Verify that customer instructions and care labels are followed.
Coordination and Records
- Coordinate with spotting, washing, pressing, and packing teams to correct quality issues.
- Maintain daily quality-control reports and records.
- Report recurring quality issues to supervisors and recommend improvements.
Standards and Handling
- Handle delicate and high-value items properly.
- Monitor compliance with company quality standards and SOPs.
- Keep the work area clean and follow safety standards.
