Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials upon receiving and verify quality standards

Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, or related field
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience as a Quality Controller in bakery, food manufacturing, or FMCG
- HACCP Certification (preferred)
- Food Safety Level 2 or Level 3 Certification
- Knowledge of GMP, GHP, and ISO 22000
- Experience with bakery products such as bread, pastries, cakes, and confectionery preferred
- Experience with UAE food safety regulations is an advantage

Job Summary
- The Quality Controller is responsible for ensuring that all bakery products meet the company's quality, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials upon receiving and verify quality standards.
- Monitor bakery production processes to ensure product consistency.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products before dispatch.
- Ensure products meet specifications for taste, texture, appearance, weight, and packaging.
- Identify and report quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, GHP, and food safety procedures.
- Monitor staff hygiene practices and PPE compliance.
- Conduct daily hygiene inspections in production and storage areas.
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Monitor product storage temperatures and shelf life requirements.
- Maintain QC inspection reports and quality records.
- Complete daily quality checklists and monitoring logs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- HACCP Certification (preferred).
- Food Safety Level 2 or Level 3 Certification.
