About the Role

Responsibilities
- Conduct physical and chemical testing on cream batches including pH, viscosity, color, texture, and appearance
- Perform or coordinate microbial testing (bacterial, fungal contamination) using culture media and lab equipment
- Record all test results in batch documentation and lab notebooks
- Approve or reject batches based on test results and quality specifications
- Maintain lab equipment (pH meter, viscometer, scales) and ensure calibration
- Verify supplier raw material certificates of analysis (CoA) and approve incoming materials
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant lab workspace
- Prepare batch records for DRAP registration and regulatory submissions
- Support stability testing programs for product shelf life validation
- Report any quality issues or customer complaints to Production Supervisor and QA Manager
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Cosmetic Science
- At least 1 2 years of experience in cosmetic or pharmaceutical quality control
- Proficiency with lab testing equipment (pH meter, viscometer, scales)
- Knowledge of cosmetic testing standards and regulations (UAE/DRAP preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and record keeping
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)

Position Overview

Preferred Qualifications
