Role Overview
ROR Roastery L.L.C. is seeking an experienced Quality Control Officer (Coffee) to join its Dubai team.
The role maintains and continuously improves coffee quality across ROR operations and customer locations.
Quality Control and Customer Support
- Conduct scheduled quality-control visits to assigned customer locations.
- Perform coffee cupping and sensory evaluations covering aroma, flavour, body, acidity, aftertaste, and consistency.
- Inspect preparation methods, espresso extraction, milk texture, beverage presentation, hygiene, and equipment performance.
- Calibrate coffee machines and grinders and maintain accurate calibration records.
- Identify quality issues, determine root causes, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on implementation.
- Prepare QC reports, quality findings, recommendations, and customer feedback for management.
- Conduct tastings, product demonstrations, and technical support for new and existing customers.
- Support Sales and Operations with customer onboarding and product recommendations.
Training, Safety, and Records
- Train and guide baristas on extraction, milk steaming, brewing, machine operation, cleaning, hygiene, and company standards.
- Monitor food safety, personal hygiene, cleaning schedules, storage conditions, expiry dates, and cross-contamination risks.
