In this role, you will specialize in RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and MRB (Material Review Board) processes and be responsible for conducting detailed Failure Analysis (FA) reporting to support quality engineering initiatives.
You will check products, test materials, perform failure analysis, and document all findings accurately.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
• Inspect production lines and provide immediate, actionable feedback to operators to prevent or fix defects.
• Log and track all inspection findings, RMA/MRB statuses, and FA data accurately in our tracking software.
• Perform "First Article" inspections to ensure manufacturing processes are running correctly from the start.
• Carefully read and follow blueprints, assembly guides, and technical documents.
• Test incoming components and raw materials to determine approval or rejection status.
• Assist other quality departments with final inspections and audits as needed.
• Inspect electro-mechanical parts and assemblies to verify conformance to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Support the Material Review Board (MRB) process by documenting and tracking non-conforming materials.
• Assist Quality Engineers with failure analysis by collecting data and preparing reports to support root cause investigations.
• Perform inspections for Returned Material Authorizations (RMAs) to facilitate accurate processing and disposition.

4–6 years of hands-on experience in quality inspection (SMT experience preferred).
Familiarity with IPC-A-610 (Class 2 and Class 3) standards for circuit board assemblies.
Experience with component identification, polarity verification, and using inspection tools like microscopes and meters.
Proficiency in standard software (e.g., MS Office) and data entry tools.

Salary Range(annual): $52,000 - $59,280 (25- $28.50 / hour)
Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
