Project Overview
The project is a 46 km, 1400 mm diameter cross-country raw water pipeline for Anuppur Thermal Energy (MP) Pvt. Ltd.
The position is site-based in Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh.
The project duration is 12 months and may be extended according to site progress.
Qualifications and Experience
- B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, or Metallurgical Engineering.
- Certification in welding inspection such as CSWIP, AWS, or equivalent is preferred.
- At least 6 years of QA/QC experience on cross-country or industrial pipelines.
- Direct experience with pipe diameters of 1400 mm or above.
- Industrial EPC pipeline experience in power, steel, refinery, or similar projects is mandatory.
- Hands-on exposure to DPT, RT, UT, WPS/PQR/WPQ documentation, and coating or lining inspection.
Quality Control Responsibilities
- Ensure 100% DPT, 25% RT, and 75% UT joint testing is completed and documented.
- Establish and monitor WPS/PQR and coordinate welder qualification before deployment.
- Inspect and certify external wrap coating and internal lining at field joints before backfilling.
- Coordinate concrete mix design approval and monitor batching plant compliance.
