Position Overview
Datum General Contracting is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer - Civil for its project team.
The project location stated in the description is Al Silla, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The role is within construction and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least five years of QA/QC experience in civil construction projects.
- UAE project experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with structural and civil works, including excavation, backfilling, concrete, reinforcement, and formwork.
- Knowledge of ITPs, MIRs, WIRs, method statements, material submittals, NCRs, and QA/QC documentation.
- Ability to coordinate inspections and approvals with the main contractor, client, and consultant.
- Knowledge of project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant standards.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform QA/QC engineering activities for civil construction projects.
- Support quality control for excavation, backfilling, concrete, reinforcement, formwork, and related civil works.
- Prepare and manage ITPs, MIRs, WIRs, method statements, material submittals, NCRs, and QA/QC records.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals with the main contractor, client, and consultant.
- Review project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant standards for compliance.
- Maintain documentation and prepare quality reports for the project team.
