Purpose of the Job
Test water and in-process samples according to approved specifications and methods of analysis.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct chemical and physical analysis of IPQC samples from water treatment, rinse water, bulk solution, and filling line processes.
- Test samples according to approved specifications and methods of analysis.
- Prepare chemical reagents and prepare and standardize volumetric solutions.
- Calibrate laboratory instruments according to the calibration program.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and Good Laboratory Practice.
- Follow Good Documentation Practices and ALCOA principles when testing and reporting results.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry.
- Four years of experience in chemical analysis.
Job-Related Skills
- Wet analysis skills, including titration, loss on drying, and residue on ignition.
- Instrumental analysis skills using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, polarimeter, auto titrator, KF, AAS, and flame photometer.
- Communication skills in English and Arabic, verbally and in writing.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
