Role Overview

Lead quality assurance strategy across web, mobile, and API platforms.

Mentor and scale a high-performing team of QA engineers.

Drive process optimization in CI/CD pipelines and partner with leadership on release readiness.

Position Responsibilities

  • Guide, mentor, and grow manual and automation QA engineers.
  • Conduct one-on-ones, set performance goals, and foster continuous learning.
  • Define and maintain test strategy across web, mobile, and API platforms.
  • Oversee automation framework design and scaling.
  • Integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum workflows.
  • Assess release readiness, manage risk, and coordinate deployment schedules with product and engineering leaders.
  • Track quality metrics including test coverage, defect escape rate, and automation ROI.
  • Report actionable quality insights to senior leadership.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 10 years of software quality assurance experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity.
  • Proficiency with modern automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
  • Deep experience in API testing with tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
  • Deep experience in performance testing with JMeter.
  • Deep experience in mobile testing with Appium.
  • Exceptional communication and risk management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Brightspot, Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, or Drupal is preferred.
