Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to verify that completed works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, inspection and test plans, and applicable quality standards.
• Review and manage inspection documentation, including Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Quality checklists, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Site observations, Snagging and de-snagging records, Punch lists and closeout trackers.
• Coordinate inspections with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.
• Identify defective, incomplete, or non-compliant works and ensure that corrective actions are properly implemented and closed out.
• Carry out detailed snagging inspections and monitor the timely rectification of outstanding items.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, observations, approvals, rejected works, and closeout status.
• Monitor project quality performance and prepare regular QA/QC reports for the project management team.
• Review project handover and closeout documentation, including As-built drawings, Operation and Maintenance manuals, Testing and commissioning records, Warranties and guarantees, Authority approvals and completion certificates, Asset registers, Spare parts and specialist tools, Final inspection and h
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure that all quality-related deliverables are completed before practical completion and final handover.
• Support the preparation of handover dossiers and ensure that documentation is complete, properly indexed, approved, and submitted in accordance with project requirements.
• Assist in developing and improving project-specific quality control and closeout procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Has own Visa
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience as a QA/QC Engineer within the construction industry.
• Demonstrable experience in project completion, snagging, de-snagging, closeout, and handover procedures.
• Good working knowledge of standard construction inspection and quality control forms and processes.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, material submittals, and inspection requests.
• Strong understanding of construction quality standards and site inspection requirements.
• Previous experience working for a main contractor is preferred.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify incomplete, defective, or non-compliant works.
• Good reporting, document-control, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
