- Conduct manual testing across various functionalities and platforms
- Write clear and concise test cases and bug reports
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve reported issues efficiently
- Participate in the development lifecycle by providing constructive feedback and suggesting improvements to product quality
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of testing activities
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft products
- Experience in software testing or a similar role
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Position Overview
- We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our software development team.
- In this role, you will work alongside and collaborate with another QA Analyst to support our developers in testing new features, bug fixes, and product improvements.
- You don’t need deep QA experience, we can teach you. What matters most is your curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- This role is a great fit if you enjoy problem solving, collaborating with developers, and contributing to products that are used by energy and field operations teams across Canada and internationally.
What You’ll Do
- Design and execute test plans to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues in software applications, databases, and other AbaData products.
- Conduct manual testing across various functionalities and platforms.
- Write clear and concise test cases and bug reports, including detailed descriptions of the issue, steps to reproduce, and expected results.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve reported issues efficiently.
- Participate in the development lifecycle by providing constructive feedback and suggesting improvements to product quality.
- Stay up to date with the latest testing methodologies and tools.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of testing activities.
What We're Looking For
