Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company's Quality Assurance function, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 22716, and other regulatory standards
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) across manufacturing operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all external audits, ensuring successful audit outcomes
- Lead internal audits, manage CAPA, deviation investigations, change control, and root cause analysis
- Ensure compliance with GMP, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout manufacturing, packaging, storage, and distribution
- Oversee supplier qualification, supplier audits, and quality performance monitoring for raw materials and packaging suppliers
- Collaborate with Production, R&D, Procurement, Warehouse, and Operations to ensure consistent product quality
- Monitor and analyze quality KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and implement preventive and corrective actions
- Supervise Quality Control activities, including raw material, in process, and finished product release processes
- Review and approve SOPs, specifications, batch manufacturing records, validation protocols, and quality documentation
- Lead validation activities related to processes, equipment, cleaning, and manufacturing systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce quality related costs, and improve manufacturing efficiency
Requirements
- Extensive experience in the perfume, fragrance, cosmetics, personal care, or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
- Proven track record of managing external audits, implementing quality systems, and driving continuous improvement
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 22716 (GMP for Cosmetics), and other applicable regulatory standards
- Experience leading internal audits, managing CAPA, deviation investigations, change control, and root cause analysis
- Ability to oversee supplier qualification, supplier audits, and quality performance monitoring
- Experience supervising Quality Control activities and reviewing SOPs, specifications, and batch records
