- Create clear, accessible, and engaging written content about waste collection, separation, and recycling
- Write and edit content for websites, newsletters, leaflets, social media, and other channels
- Work closely with operations, communications, and customer service teams
- Translate complex information into understandable, practical messages for diverse audiences
- Plan and structure content, conduct interviews or desk research
- Ensure consistency with the Waardlanden tone of voice and align with campaigns and policy developments
- Monitor effectiveness of communication materials and support continuous improvement
Requirements
- Strong writing and editing skills in English and Dutch
- Experience creating informative and educational content, preferably for public services or sustainability
- Ability to translate technical or policy information into understandable messages
- Solid research skills including gathering information from internal experts and external sources
- Basic understanding of communication and content planning
- Comfort working with digital tools and content platforms (e.g., CMS, email tools, social media)
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Organized and proactive work style, able to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
