About the Role
Glean is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to assess the quality of its web application through manual and automation testing.
The role focuses on finding and reporting bugs, performing initial root cause analysis, and supporting reliable product releases.
Responsibilities
- Create, execute, and maintain test plans for product releases and features.
- Perform initial root cause analysis using developer tools, GCP server logs, and SQL analysis.
- Report detailed bugs in Jira and help reproduce externally reported issues.
- Test extended and edge-case scenarios and update test plans as products change.
- Contribute to the automation framework, including triaging and fixing failing tests.
Requirements
- 2+ years of automation and manual testing experience on responsive web pages.
- Experience testing different operating systems and browsers.
- Working experience with Jira and Chrome Developer Tools.
- Strong knowledge of web-based applications and experience in agile teams with frequent releases.
- Comfort working with Python or Java.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
