Role Overview
Support daily Quality Assurance and Food Safety activities within a bakery manufacturing facility.
Combine QA administration, food safety documentation, product data management, and hands-on facility monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Maintain QA and food safety records, reports, checklists, and documentation.
- Assist with FSSC 22000 and HACCP records, verification, corrective actions, filing, and audit preparation.
- Maintain product specifications, recipes, ingredients, nutritional information, allergen data, and customer product documentation.
- Maintain supplier and raw material specifications, certificates, approval records, traceability records, batch records, shelf-life records, and microbiological testing records.
- Conduct food safety and hygiene inspections and follow up with Production and Operations on observations and corrective actions.
- Assist with training records, document control, data entry, QA reports, and daily support for the QA Manager.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Microbiology, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Previous experience in bakery, food manufacturing, catering, or food production is preferred.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP/GHP, and food safety management systems is preferred; FSSC 22000 knowledge is advantageous.
