Job Summary
QA Engineer role requiring 4+ years of software quality assurance experience.
The role focuses on manual testing, automation, Playwright, Jira, Agile methodologies, STLC, and SDLC.
The successful candidate will design test strategies, maintain automated scripts, identify defects, and collaborate with development and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases from business and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain UI automation test scripts using Playwright.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
- Create test scenarios, test cases, and test data from requirements analysis.
- Execute automated suites and analyse results to identify failures and defects.
- Log, track, prioritise, and manage defects using Jira.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA engineers to resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Follow and contribute to STLC and SDLC processes.
- Ensure test coverage and identify requirements and testing gaps.
- Maintain automation frameworks, reusable components, scripts, and documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and improve automation quality and maintainability.
