The Qualified Electrical Technician (Non-Licensed) is responsible for performing skilled electrical work in industrial and oil & gas environments.
This position is designated by the company as a “qualified person” based on demonstrated knowledge, training, and experience in the construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
This role does not require state electrical licensure; however, the individual must meet internal company qualification standards and demonstrate competency in accordance with applicable OSHA regulations and National Fire Protection Association standards, including NFPA 70E requirements for qualified persons.
The Qualified Electrical Technician works independently or as part of a crew and may assist in mentoring apprentices under supervision.
