£16.06 – £20.00 per hour

£16.41 – £20.51 per hour

£17.66 – £22.07 per hour

Already experienced? If you've held a PCV licence and worked as a bus driver for at least 12 months within the last 4 years , you'll join on our 2nd–3rd year pay rate .

Premium rates after 9pm

Weekend enhancements

Overtime paid for all hours worked above your contracted hours

You'll work a rotating pattern of 5 days on, 2 days off , with shifts planned 6–8 weeks in advance , helping you plan your life outside of work.

Typical shift start times include:

🌅 Mornings from 4:00am

☀️ Afternoons from 12:00pm

🌙 Evenings from 6:00pm

Regular overtime is available, depending on business needs.

Please note: Fixed shifts (such as permanent mornings or evenings) are not available.

To join Arriva London you'll need:

A valid PCV Category D licence

To be aged 18 or over

No more than 6 penalty points

A current Licence for London , if you've worked for another London bus operator within the last six months

To pass a drug and alcohol screening

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
