Job Summary
The role is for a Quantity Surveyor who can independently manage project commercial activities from drawings and estimation through execution, RA billing, and final reconciliation.
The work covers BOQs, rate analysis, measurements, contractor billing, cost control, and management reporting across multiple construction sites.
BOQ, Estimation and Rate Analysis
- Study architectural, structural, MEP, and detailed drawings and specifications for new projects.
- Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, rate analyses, estimates, budgets, and package-wise cost breakups.
- Update quantities and cost implications when drawings, specifications, or scope change.
- Compare contractor quotations, support work-order finalization, and analyze extra or non-BOQ items.
Site Measurements and Billing
- Visit project sites as required to verify executed quantities against drawings, site execution, and approved scope.
- Verify contractor measurements, RA bills, NMR records, rates, variations, recoveries, retention, advances, and deductions.
- Maintain auditable measurement records and carry out final measurements and contractor account reconciliation.
