About the Role
The QHSE Supervisor manages plant activities with a focus on HSE objectives, enforces policies, conducts training, and leads audits. Requires 5-7 years of HSSE experience in Utilities/Energy, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and ISO/OSHAA certification.

Responsibilities
- Actively manage plant activities with a focus on HSE objectives
- Enforce HSE policies and educate field staff and contractors
- Record and report worker injuries; support Occupational Health Team with post accident care
- Conduct HSE training, promote permit to work systems, and identify non compliant practices
- Lead HSE audits, incident investigations, and reporting with recommendations
- Regularly inspect HSE controls, first aid, and firefighting equipment
- Collect environmental deviations, enforce corrective actions, and oversee waste disposal and emissions
- Plan and review HSE emergency drills; monitor and update licenses
- Provide induction training for visitors and contractors
Requirements
- 5–7 years of HSSE experience in the Utilities/Energy sector, ideally in sewage treatment
- Proficient in Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental Management Systems
- Knowledge of legal requirements, hazard and aspect impact assessments, and incident investigation
- Skilled in firefighting, HSE emergency response, waste management, and emission monitoring
- Strong English communication skills, MS Office proficiency
- Knowledge of PPE, first aid, spillage containment, and HCIS requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
- ISO, OSHAA is a must and NEBOSH is plus
