QHSE Supervisor
The QHSE Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and implementing Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental (HSE) procedures across factories, warehouses, and workers' accommodations.
This role ensures compliance with approved HSE requirements, manages permit-to-work activities, monitors emergency response and fire protection systems, oversees environmental compliance and waste management, and follows up on non-conformities, environmental complaints, and corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the implementation of all Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental (HSE) procedures across factories, warehouses, and workers' accommodations, ensuring compliance with actual site conditions.
- Conduct daily monitoring of the HSE management system across all locations and immediately report any non-conformities or deviations to the direct manager to ensure timely corrective actions.
- Issue and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) for hazardous activities within the factories until full closure in accordance with approved procedures.
- Ensure all required preventive and safety measures are implemented before, during, and after maintenance activities.
- Review and inspect requests for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety clothing, safety footwear, first aid supplies, and other safety-related items, ensuring compliance with approved specifications.
- Implement emergency response plans across factories, warehouses, and workers' accommodations, and organize periodic emergency response training programs for employees.
- Monitor fire protection systems at all locations and conduct regular fire prevention and emergency response drills.
- Develop, communicate, and document emergency procedures for handling chemical spills and leakages in laboratories, ensuring employees are properly trained and familiar with the procedures.
- Monitor and review water sample analysis results to ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations and standards.
- Monitor and identify the environmental aspects and impacts related to raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
- Supervise waste management contracts and oversee the proper disposal of solid, liquid, and general waste in accordance with applicable environmental regulations.
- Follow up on environmental complaints, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.
