Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced QHSE Officer in Saudi Arabia.
The role implements and monitors quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across company operations.
The role ensures compliance with Saudi regulations, client requirements, and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain QHSE policies, procedures, and management systems.
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and QHSE awareness training.
- Monitor environmental controls, waste management, housekeeping, and PPE compliance.
- Prepare QHSE reports, inspection records, checklists, and documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams, management, clients, contractors, and auditors.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant QHSE experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of QHSE procedures, risk assessment, incident investigation, and workplace safety.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Knowledge of applicable Saudi Arabian HSE regulations and requirements.
- Proficiency in English is required; Arabic is advantageous.
Preferred Certifications
- NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or OSHA certifications are preferred.
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is up to 5,000 Saudi riyals per month.
