QHSE Officer / Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation and maintenance of the QHSE Management System.
• Conduct site inspections and follow up on HSE observations and corrective actions.
• Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements, JSAs, and other HSE documentation.
• Maintain QHSE records, registers, statistics, inspection records, and training documentation.
• Support incident and near-miss reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate inductions, toolbox talks, safety awareness activities, internal audits, and client audits.
• Monitor compliance with company, client, and applicable UAE HSE requirements.
• Support quality documentation, NCRs, corrective actions, continuous improvement, and periodic reporting.

Experience and Skills

• 5–7 years of overall QHSE or HSE experience, preferably in electrical and instrumentation, industrial, oil and gas, engineering, or technical service organizations.
• UAE or GCC experience is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety, quality and environmental management systems, risk assessment, and HSE documentation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good computer skills, particularly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to independently maintain QHSE documentation, reports, and records.

Required Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in engineering, industrial safety, occupational health and safety, or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC or an equivalent HSE qualification is preferred.
• IOSH Managing Safely, OSHA 30-Hour, or equivalent additional safety certification is advantageous.
• ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or ISO 9001 internal auditor training is advantageous.

Compensation

• Pay: AED 5,000 per month.
