Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QHSE Officer to support and enhance Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with company QHSE policies, client requirements, UAE regulatory standards, municipality requirements, HACCP, ISO 22000, and other applicable ISO standards.
  • Conduct site inspections, food safety inspections, hygiene audits, QHSE audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure safe working practices.
  • Monitor implementation of health, safety, environmental, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures across operations.
  • Monitor CCPs, including cooking, hot holding, chilling, freezing, food transportation, and temperature records.
  • Ensure proper food storage, labeling, FIFO/FEFO implementation, allergen control, segregation, cleaning, pest control, and personal hygiene practices.
  • Monitor PPE usage and ensure availability of safety equipment at all locations.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, food safety complaints, contamination cases, and non-conformities, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Maintain QHSE documentation, records, permits, checklists, compliance reports, and audit evidence.
  • Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, food safety training, awareness sessions, and competency verification for employees and food handlers.
  • Support client inspections, external audits, regulatory authority visits, microbiological testing, traceability exercises, and food recall activities.
  • Participate in emergency response drills and support business continuity initiatives.
  • Prepare monthly QHSE reports, statistics, and KPI analysis for management review.
  • Assist in developing and updating QHSE policies, SOPs, work instructions, and management system documents.
  • Ensure environmental sustainability practices and waste management procedures are followed.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement across all business units.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • NEBOSH / IOSH certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of QHSE experience in Catering, Facilities Management, Hospitality, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE QHSE regulations and ISO standards.
  • Good communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
