Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct workplace inspections and support risk assessments related to transport and lifting activities.
- Help develop and update QHSE procedures, maintain documentation, and assist in incident reporting and investigations.
- Organize and deliver safety trainings, promoting a strong safety culture.
- Collaborate with operations teams to identify improvements in processes and working practices.
- Participate in internal audits and work with management to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements
- Strong Health & Safety and Workplace Safety skills
- Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health expertise
- Safety Training experience, including developing training content and delivering sessions
- Knowledge of relevant local and international QHSE regulations and best practices, especially in logistics, transport, and lifting
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in QHSE, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are an advantage
- Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Previous experience in a QHSE role within transport, logistics, construction, or lifting operations in the UAE or GCC region is preferred
