Role Overview
Omnissa is hiring a QE Professional focused on Python automation and software quality engineering.
The role is described as a Senior Member of Technical at level P4 and supports complex software validation.
Responsibilities
- Create test plans and quality assurance roadmaps from technical requirements.
- Design, execute, debug, and automate test cases across complex environments.
- Manage defects through the full lifecycle and maintain test metrics.
- Develop manual and automated test suites and enterprise testing frameworks.
- Contribute to design and code reviews to improve product testability.
- Analyze production deployments and user feedback to improve product quality.
- Collaborate with R&D and Product Management on software delivery.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of software quality engineering, system testing, and full-lifecycle validation experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Python, Appium, TestNG, Jenkins, and Maven.
- Complex SQL querying and database manipulation experience.
- Validation experience across Windows Desktop, macOS, and Android.
- Knowledge of cloud-native environments, web application testing, and software development lifecycles.
