Role Overview
Perform quality inspections at incoming, in-process, final-dispatch, and re-work stages.
Ensure inspection activities comply with company quality, HSE, and applicable customer requirements.
Inspection Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials against purchase order requirements and the company GIR procedure.
- Perform first-off approval and in-process inspection using job sheets, drawings, and route sheets.
- Perform final inspection with visual, hardness, and dimensional measurements.
- Validate special processes and inspect re-worked parts against acceptance criteria.
Calibration and Testing
- Plan calibration schedules in Q-Pulse and complete calibrations before due dates.
- Perform in-house calibration, maintain records and stickers, and update the Q-Pulse asset module.
- Perform in-house liquid penetrant testing and retain required inspection records.
API and Improvement Activities
- Perform API monogram marking according to company procedure and maintain the tracking master list.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and report newly identified risks or opportunities.
