Responsibilities
- Perform day to day inspection of piping fabrication, installation, and testing activities to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
- Review and interpret piping drawings and isometric diagrams
- Monitor welding and fit up processes, and check materials and consumables for conformity
- Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records
- Coordinate with construction and engineering teams
- Support nonconformance investigations and corrective actions
- Participate in site walkthroughs, punch list verification, and final inspection before system handover
Requirements
- 5 years total experience in Quality Control and Inspection for piping systems
- Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management within engineering or construction projects
- Strong Communication skills to coordinate effectively with site teams, clients, and third party inspectors
- Practical knowledge of piping standards, codes, and welding procedures (e.g., ASME, API) and familiarity with NDT processes
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Previous experience as a QC Inspector or similar role in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects in the UAE or GCC region
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and isometrics, with attention to detail and safety requirements
- Working knowledge of inspection documentation, ITPs, checklists, and quality reporting tools

Role Description
- The QC Inspector – Piping role is a full time, on site position based in UAE.
- The role involves performing day to day inspection of piping fabrication, installation, and testing activities to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- The QC Inspector will review and interpret piping drawings and isometric diagrams, monitor welding and fit up processes, and check materials and consumables for conformity.
- Daily tasks include preparing inspection reports, maintaining quality records, coordinating with construction and engineering teams, and supporting nonconformance investigations and corrective actions.
- The role also requires participation in site walkthroughs, punch list verification, and final inspection before system handover.
Qualifications
- 5yrs exp I total, Demonstrated skills in Quality Control and Inspection for piping systems.
- Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management within engineering or construction projects.
- Strong Communication skills to coordinate effectively with site teams, clients, and third party inspectors.
