Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, fabricated components, and finished products to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Perform dimensional inspections, including alignment, straightness, hole locations, fit up, and overall fabrication accuracy.
- Verify fabrication processes such as cutting, drilling, punching, bending, and welding (where applicable).
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, travel cards, and Non Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Coordinate with fabrication supervisors to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper identification, marking, and traceability of fabricated components.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits and maintain accurate QC documentation.
- Monitor the calibration status of measuring and inspection equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies during all inspection activities.
- Support continuous quality improvement by identifying defects and recommending preventive actions.
Requirements
- Experience in quality control inspection of raw materials, fabricated components, and finished products.
- Knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques and fabrication processes.
- Ability to prepare inspection reports and Non Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Familiarity with calibration of measuring and inspection equipment.
- Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
