Role Overview
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of machined items, rental fleet items, and supplier service items.
Cover first-off, API and licensee standard, and final inspections across Hunting product lines.
Employment and Reporting
- The position is full time.
- The role reports to the QHSE Manager.
- Travel and time away from home are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform first-off, in-process, receiving, and final inspections of machined items.
- Conduct NDT inspection if NDT Level 2 certified, as well as hardness, pressure, premium connection, drift, and service inspections.
- Upload hardness, NDT, and drift results to spreadsheets.
- Examine and recertify lifting equipment.
- Control non-conforming products and raise internal or subcontractor non-conformance reports.
- Follow QMS, HSE procedures, work instructions, and Quality and HSE policies.
- Carry out calibration and update equipment database records.
- Receive and approve material test certificates and prepare inspection reports.
- Release non-API monogram products after final inspection.
- Stop processes when product quality or HSE concerns are identified.
- Review inspection documentation and witness pressure tests.
