QC Engineer

Al Jomaih Energy & Water (AEW) headquartered in Saudi Arabia, is a fast-growing investor, lead developer, and operator of utility and infrastructure projects in various geographical markets such as KSA, GCC, Asia & North Africa, with investments in 6 GW of Conventional and Solar power plants, and around 700,000 m3/day of water. This is a greenfield CCGT project to be constructed with a net power capacity of 2400 MW, together with its ancillary equipment, associated infrastructure and facilities. The Project comprises the Plant and associated Electrical Special Facilities (ESF). The Plant will be located inland at a site situated approximately 50 km north-east of the City of Abu Dhabi. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in the full lifecycle of the project, from design and engineering to construction and operation, all within a dynamic and innovative environment. Taweelah, Abu Dhabi, UAE (Site is approx 30 to 40 kms from Abu Dhabi city) Duration : Approx. 36 months Overview The QC Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of construction and engineering projects.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining quality control processes, conducting inspections, and collaborating with project teams to uphold high-quality standards.

Your Job Functions (Duties & Responsibilities) Project Quality Management: Develop, implement, and manage quality control processes and procedures while ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.

Evaluate and manage the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors, establishing criteria for their selection, and coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to uphold quality standards.

Demonstrate expertise in creating and executing QA/QC plans, inspection test plans (ITPs), and conducting root cause analysis to address non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions effectively.
