Role overview
The Technical Translator supports Lonza's Quality Systems and Compliance team by translating technical and organizational documentation.
The role ensures accurate, consistent, timely, and compliant translations while collaborating with Operations and other site departments.
Location and workplace
- The position is based in Hyderabad, India, with a hybrid workplace arrangement.
- Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families.
What you will do
- Translate technical, operational, and organizational documents across Quality, Production, Engineering, HR, and Communications.
- Ensure linguistic quality, clarity, site terminology alignment, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain alignment with approved templates, controlled language, and quality system requirements.
- Act as the subject matter expert for translation workflows and tools.
- Support document preparation, wording, and structure.
- Manage workloads and changing priorities to meet critical site deadlines.
- Review, edit, and proofread translations for correctness and compliance.
- Collaborate with team members and Operations to define priorities and ensure documentation readiness.
