Quality Inspections
- Conduct daily inspections for cable installation, containment, lighting, power systems, earthing, LV panels, and ELV systems.
- Verify work against approved IFC drawings, BOQ, and project specifications.
- Ensure workmanship meets industry standards and project quality requirements.
- Raise NCRs and follow up on corrective actions.
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare and update inspection requests, material inspection requests, and relevant QA/QC documentation.
- Maintain logs for inspections, testing, materials, and quality records.
- Submit daily and weekly quality reports to the QA/QC Engineer.
- Assist in preparing final handover documents, including as-built quality records.
Testing and Commissioning
- Witness insulation resistance, continuity, functional, breaker, generator, UPS, and grounding resistance tests.
- Ensure testing follows approved ITPs and manufacturer standards.
Material Verification
- Inspect incoming materials and verify compliance with approved submittals.
- Ensure materials are stored and handled properly on site.
- Report damaged or non-compliant materials immediately.
Compliance and Coordination
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and consultants for inspections.
- Ensure subcontractors adhere to quality standards and project requirements.
- Support the QA/QC Engineer in quality audits and internal assessments.
Safety Integration
- Ensure electrical works follow safety procedures and HSE guidelines.
Requirements
- Ability to inspect electrical activities including cable installation, containment, lighting, power systems, earthing, LV panels, and ELV systems.
- Ability to verify electrical work, materials, testing, and workmanship against approved drawings, specifications, submittals, ITPs, and applicable standards.
- Ability to prepare and maintain inspection, material, testing, and quality documentation.
